Who we are

Nadodi's culinary brigade is a culturally diverse team of masters who have dedicated their lives to the art of traditional cooking techniques and spice blends.

Every dish on the Nadodi menus is designed with utmost care, showcasing signature regional influences that reflect each culinary associate's personal experiences and passion.

Chef Eliyaz found his true calling at the tender age of 11 under the tutelage of his mother, and he turned that passion into an illustrious career that has spanned over 14 years in leading European, Italian, Nordic, Mediterranean and Indian restaurants.

Armed with a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Catering Management, Eliyaz has worked with and learned from some of the finest Michelin star chefs from around the world. These include Francesco Apreda, Davide Rebeccatto, Felice la Basso, Vincenzo di Tuoro and Dominic Chapman.

Eliyaz’s dedication has paid off, and in 2019 he was awarded the BBC Good Food’s “Best Innovative Chef of the Year 2019”. That same year, he also won the prestigious “Young Chef of the Year” by IHE 2019. His skill and talents have also stood the restaurants under his guidance in good stead. In 2018, he led ALBA in Bengaluru to win the “Best Italian Restaurant” in the fine dining category at Food Food Awards 2018. In 2022 he won a Televised culinary contest called Chefs Vs Fridge, that was hosted by Zee Café (a leading Indian channel).

In his role as the Executive Chef at Nadodi. Chef Eliyaz’s primary focus will be in menu development and cuisine integrity, and to work closely with the culinary brigade at the outlet to ensure our flavour profiles and cuisine are truly authentic.

Chef Yavhin Siriwardhana, a second-generation Malaysian with strong Sri Lankan and Malayali familial ancestry roots. Drawing inspiration from his mixed cultural background and childhood memories, Chef Yavhin skillfully interprets Southern Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine in novel ways while retaining the depth, vibrancy, and diverse flavors of the region. His culinary creations pay homage to his heritage and strive to showcase the unique flavors and textures of his cultural roots.

Chef Pradeep, known as the "Master of Flavors." Born in Colombo, he began his journey with the Cinnamon Group over 17 years ago as one of the founding chefs at Aliyaa, the group's award-winning Sri Lankan restaurant. Specializing in both Sri Lankan and Southern Indian cuisine, Chef Pradeep creates beautiful dishes of contemporary reinterpretations with inspiration from rich traditions and personal childhood experiences. He has been an integral part of Nadodi since its inception, mastering fresh spice blends that hold the key to its deep and rich flavors. Among his many creations is the "Nadodi Globe," a classic Biryani dish cooked in a mild spice blend with free-range chicken layered between short-grain rice, called "seeraga samba," and served with braised black lentils and yogurt topped with Daikon Salad.
